December the Fifteenth 2009

~Today I am updating my blog and learning log because I haven't updated them for quite a while. I am probably going to be homebound for a while after today, but I am still going to work with my team through email and the WIKI. I can make game characters and scenes at home. I can upload my work to the WIKI and we can merge the flash files.~

December the 11th 2009

~I haven't been to school for a while, but I have been working with flash and making different characters. I haven't had internet because my power has been out. I came to the library today to update my blog. I am going to go on the GWHS WIKI and read what's on there.~

November the Fifth 2009

~Today we talked about our game idea presentations. We have to have three game ideas to present tomorrow. We came up with an idea for each team member. We took notes about real world situations that pertain to our game ideas. There is one game idea that we all really like. The other two ideas are good, but not as great as that one.~

October the 30th 2009

~Today we are using this time to catch up. We are suppose to update learning logs, blogs, and anything else we haven't finished. I think I have everything just about finished. In the second half of the class we are going to get with our team and talk about our three game ideas we came up with. We have to present our ideas to the class on Monday. So far I can think of two game ideas my team came up with the other day. We'll probably have to create another idea today. I am going to finish up with what I'm doing and then go discuss the games with my team. I am having a little trouble with the mini game. I cannot get the scoreboard to work correctly. Does anyone know how to do it?~

October the 29th 2009

~I went to Mrs. Neal's blog and took the left brain, right brain quiz. My first results were that I am 51% left brain and 49% right brain. I use both sides of my brain, so I guess I am pretty well balanced. The second test said that I was 32% right brain and 78% left brain. I don't know which test was accurate. Switching the subject, I have gotten to the part of the mini game where you make the scoreboard, and I cannot get the score to change when the bunny eats a carrot. I do not know what I'm doing wrong, but I'll probably figure it out tomorrow.~

October the 28th 2009

~Today we are continuing our work on the Mini Game. I've gotten a little confused along the way, but I've done well so far. I'm now stuck at the part where you do the collision detection. I haven't worked with the score board yet, so I don't know if I'll have trouble with it or not. We are working together as a class, so when others get to that point, then they will probably be able to help me.~

October the Nineteenth 2009

~Today I am updating my learning log and my blog. I'm finished with everything else. The others who weren't here Friday are getting caught up today.~

October the Sixteenth 2009

~Today I created the page for Team SEE. I uploaded an eye I had drawn in flash. If my team doesn't like it, we can change it when they get back. Neither of my teammates were here today. We can fill out the rest of the page on Monday.~

October the 14th 2009

~Today I worked on the mini game. I got to where you make the bunny move and I had a lot of problems. I can't get it to work quite right. I'll work more on it tomorrow.~

~I think the boy should be punished, and he should be in a facility for troubled children. Even though he's very young, he still probably knew better than to abuse his family. It was bad too that he abused his parents, which are probably the ones who paid for the cell phone.~

~Today I added everyone to my blog list. I haven't been here for a while. I'm trying to keep caught up on my blog and my learning log. When I'm not at school, I'll still try to update my blog and my learning log.~

September the Twenty-Fifth 2009, 2nd post

~I finished watching the tutorials and reading Drawing in Flash. It helped me to get a better understanding about drawing in flash. I think that if I would have taken the time last year to watch these tutorials before I started making my game, it would have probably been easier to draw. The tutorials were very helpful.~

~I went on Ingrida's blog and I watched the two short movies. The first one was funny, and it still got the point across. The second one wasn't as interesting, but it was still good. I think the videos got their point across in a way that students can understand. Now I am going to continue watching flash tutorials.~

~Today I am beginning to watch the tutorials for Drawing in Flash. We watched the first one yesterday.~

September the 21st 2009

~Today we are fixing our blogs so that there are no links on our profile that do not work or that link to things that are blocked at school. I added two links to my profile, one to the GWHS wiki page and one to my Snpendley wiki page. I changed the layout of my profile and added some gadgets. I am going to finish up on my blog, then add something to my daily log.~

September the Eighteenth 2009

~This week I have worked really hard on getting caught up. I posted my comments about the games on my projects page. I had to work hard on getting my projects page fixed. It was different than everyone else's since I kept the one from last year. I had to go into one of the new student's projects page and copy it. I pasted it into mine, so now mine is just like their's. I went on down my projects page and started on the "Choosing a Topic" assignment. I am now caught up with everyone else and I am continuing to work.~

September the Seventeenth 2009

~Today I finished commenting on the games I played. I am going on to the next assignment. I have been sick the past few days, but now I'm back at school and I've gotten caught up on my assignments. Today I also had to fix my projects page. Since I kept my same Wiki as last year, I did not have the same questions as everyone else. Now mine is like everyone else's, the only difference is that some of my assignments are in different places. I'm working on fixing it.~

April The 21st 2009

My team is not far from being finished with our game. We are having some difficulties finishing up the actionscript. We've finished all of our scenes, and the actionscript is all we have left to do.

February The Twentieth 2009

Today we are continuing adding actionscript into our game. We have decided that Cheri is going to do most of the actionscript and I am going to do most of the drawing. I think we're off to a good beginning to our game, and hopefully we'll be finished with it soon.

January 30th 2009

I am continuing to learn about actionscript. My partner has been trying to help me figure it out, but she is not here today. After I learn how to use actionscript, we can finish our game.

Today I am working on learning more about actionscript. I don't really understand it yet, so I am going to look up some tutorials and codes about it.

I am just now learning about game codes. I am going to look on the internet for different codes for our game. I still need to learn a little bit more about the game codes, but I am doing the best I can with what I know so far.
